40. All construction activities shall be limited to the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., <br />Monday through Friday. In addition, no construction shall be allowed on federal <br />or State of California holidays. The Planning Director may allow earlier "start- <br />times" for specific construction activities (e.g., concrete-foundation/floor-pouring), <br />if it can be demonstrated to the satisfaction of the Planning Director that the <br />construction and construction traffic noise will not affect nearby residents and if <br />nearby residents do not object to the earlier start times after being notified by the <br />City. All construction equipment must meet Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) <br />noise standards and shall be equipped with muffling devices. <br />41. A construction trailer shall be allowed to be placed on the project site for daily <br />administration/coordination purposes of the house and subdivision improvements <br />during the construction period. In addition, the contractor may use the existing <br />residence for administration/coordination purposes of the estate house and <br />subdivision improvements and/or as security watchman's living quarters during <br />the construction of the estate house and subdivision improvements. At no time <br />shall campers, trailers, motor homes, or any other vehicle be used as living or <br />sleeping quarters on the construction site. All such vehicles shall be removed <br />from the site at the end of each workday. <br />42. Dust and mud shall be contained within the boundaries of the property during <br />times of construction. The project developer shall submit a dust control plan or <br />procedure as part of the improvement plans. <br />43. The applicants are responsible for ensuring that no construction debris or <br />construction scrap material is placed on any adjoining lot or City street, and that <br />any such material stored on the site shall be completely removed and the site <br />cleaned prior to occupancy. <br />44. No construction materials shall be stored within the public right-of-way. <br />45. The project developer shall submit a waste generation disposal and diversion <br />plan to the Planning Department prior to construction. The plan shall include the <br />estimated composition and quantities of waste to be generated and how the <br />project developer shall recycle at least fifty percent (50%) of the job site <br />construction and demolition waste. Proof of compliance shall be provided to the <br />Planning Director prior to final inspection. During demolition and construction, <br />the project developer shall mark all trash disposal bins "trash materials only" and <br />all recycling bins "recycling materials only." The project developer shall contact <br />Pleasanton Garbage Service for all waste disposal. Only that portion of trash <br />and recycling waste refused by Pleasanton Garbage Service shall be disposed of <br />or diverted by another trash/recycling company. <br />46. If any prehistoric or historic artifacts, or other indications of cultural resources are <br />found once the project construction is underway, all work must stop within <br />20 meters (66 feet) of the find.
