C. Planning Commission Review of Public Hearing Draft General Plan. Staff is currently consolidating the individual Draft Elements into a reformatted Public Hearing Draft General Plan which will be the subject of public hearings by the Planning Commission. Task timing: April through May, 2008. D. Public Review of Draft EIR. During the 45-day public review period, the Planning Commission will invite public comment on the Public Hearing Draft General Plan and DEIR through a workshop or at a scheduled Planning Commission meeting. Task Timing: 45-day review period to run mid-May through the end of June 2008. E. Preparation of Final EIR and Draft General Plan. Following the Planning Commission public hearing(s), the consultant will draft a Final EIR and staff will incorporate requested amendments into the Public Hearing Draft General Plan. Task timing: July through mid-August 2008. Products: Final EIR and Draft General Plan. F. Planning Commission Recommendation of Final EIR and Draft General Plan to City Council. The Planning Commission will take a formal action on the Draft General Plan and Final EIR. Task timing: End of August 2008. G. City Council action on Final EIR and Draft General Plan. City Council holds one or more hearings, certifies the Final EIR and adopts the General Plan. Task timing: September through Ocfober 2008. Products: Certified EIR and adopted General Plan.
