TJ[91A # Ton February 21, 2008 ~_,%' G'OIIWhOrlb PAgE 1 Detailed Scope for updating TJKM's old Traffic Signal Modification Design Plans at the Intersection of Vineyard Avenue and Bernal Avenue in the City of Pleasanton Project Definition/Conceptual Design ~ Attend one meeting with City staff to confirm conceptual design parameters ~ Obtain available information such as as-built drawings and aerial in ACAD format and standard provisions from the civil ~ Obtain available information on existing utilities such as sewer, water, and storm drain from the civil ~ Obtain contact information for existing underground and overhead utilities from the civil 4 Obtain base plans including proposed improvements in ACRD format from the civil ~ Conduct field review of site, including verification of existing layout of signing and pavement markings and utilities Prepare Plans and Specifications ~ Prepare detailed traffic designs in AutoCAD format ~ Designs are in accordance with Caltrans Standard Plans and Specifications, and City Standards ~ City to prepare Special Provisions 4 Prepare design review submittals for 90% review and 100% review (see additional services ~:. for additional review submittals) Final Design 4 Revise plans to incorporate review agency's commerrts ~ Submit final plans, specifications, and estimate Bidding and Construction Support Services 4 Answer telephone inquiries by bidders ~ Provide one set of reproducible drawings ~ Attend one pre-construction meeting Additional Services TJKM is available to perform additional services as requested by the Client, These services may be included, but are not limited to: ~ Attendance at additional meetings 4 Traffic analysis for lane configuration and signal phasing ~ Street lighting design/modiflcation ~ Attendance at signal turn-on 4 Changes to plans after final plans (Mylar's) have been submitted and signed by the City 4 Additional review submittals (more than 3 review submittals) 4 Additional work outside the signal installation (CCTV, fiber optic) The fee and schedule for these services will be determined of the time the services ore requested.
