As per the plans there are spread footings at the bents, 14 piles at Abutment 1 and 18 piles at Abutment 5. We have assumed that 2 days per abutment will be required for the pile driving for a total of 4 days. In addition footing observation for the bent footings will be 2-4 hours per bent for 4 bents. It is possible that longer than 8-hour day may be required to accomplish some of the pile driving work. The above discussed services are to be provided in accordance with our standard rate schedule and terms and conditions and will be dependant upon the construction program and schedule. These services will be provided to the City's Resident Engineer on an on-call basis as our personnel will not be at the site on a daily basis. This will have to be closely coordinated by the Construction Managers for the project.
