CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-162 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ENDORSING TME RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE SAN <br /> RAMON BRANCHLINE/I-680 CORRIDOR TRANSPORTATION STUDY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 21, 1987, the City Council <br /> reviewed the report of the Director of Planning and <br /> Community Development (SR 87:169) regarding the study of <br /> the San Ramon Branchline/I-680 Corridor, which was <br /> initiated late in 1984 by the Contra Costa County Board <br /> of Supervisors; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the draft ~final report was reviewed at community <br /> meetings held on April 7, 8 and 9th in San Ramon, Walnut <br /> Creek and Dublin, respectively; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on analysis and findings, the study makes six <br /> recommendations; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council of the City of Pleasanton endorses <br /> recommendations 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 of the San Ramon Branch <br /> Line/I-680 Corridor Transportation Study as set forth in <br /> Staff Report 87:169. <br /> <br />Section 2: Council endorses a revised recommendation number 5 in <br /> support of maintaining a reasonable corridor within the <br /> Southern Pacific right-of-way. <br /> <br />Section 3: Authorizes the endorsement to be forwarded to the <br /> Steering Committee and the Contra Costa County Board of <br /> Supervisors. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
