CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-143 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DENYING APPLICATION OF EXEMPTION FOR 1139 <br /> KOTTINGER FROM VINEYARD MORATORIUM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council established the Vineyard Avenue moratorium on <br /> March 13,1985 due to concern over the capacity of <br /> Vineyard Avenue to carry increased traffic serving <br /> development in the Vintage Hills/Vineyard Avenue area; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the moratorium precludes building permits being issued <br /> to any new projects until Bernal Avenue is extended (1) <br /> north from the Del Valle bridge to Stanley Boulevard and <br /> (2) south from Kottinger Drive through the Bonde <br /> property to the Bernal Avenue stub at Olde Towne; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 7,1987, Council reviewed the <br /> report (SR 87:144) of the Director of Planning and <br /> Community Development analyzing the moratorium area and <br /> the application of R. K. Miller Construction Co. for <br /> exemption from the moratorium; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Denies the application of R. K. Miller Construction <br /> Co. for exemption for the development planned at 1139 <br /> Kottinger from the Vineyard Moratorium. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED APRIL 7, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None //~/~~/t_./ <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> KEnNetH R.
