ATTACHMENT 3 CONTRACT TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION AT THE INTERSECTION OF BERNAL AVENUE AND I-680 FREEWAY S/B OFF-RAMP (CIP# 005068) AND COMPLETION OF THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEM AT VINEYARD AVENUE AND PIETRONAVE LANE (CIP# 075014) THIS CONTRACT is made and entered into this 4th day of March 2008 by and between John D. Baker Construction Co., ("Contractor"), whose address is 7500 West Lane, Suite 109, Stockton, CA. 95210, and telephone number is (209) 475-9705, and the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation ("City"). WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, the City has awarded to the Contractor a contract for the Traffic Signal Installation at the Intersection of Bernal Avenue and I-680 Freeway southbound off-ramp (CIP No.005068) and Completion of the Traffic Signal System at Vineyard Avenue and Pietronave Lane (CIP No.075014) NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises set forth herein, the parties agree as follows: Work to be Performed. The work shall consists of furnishing and installing all required traffic signal controllers and cabinets, street lights, traffic signal poles and mast arms, Edge-lit LED street name signs, Intelligent Transportation Systems related devices, conduits, conductors, foundations, pedestrian and equestrian push button poles and equipments, pull boxes, antenna, loop detectors, signal interconnect cables, luminaires, bollards, EVA gates, video detection equipments, testing of equipments, traffic striping, pavement markings, signing and providing all necessary equipment brochures and manuals. Said work is more particularly shown in the following documents which are on file with the Department of Public Works of the City and are incorporated herein by this reference: A. Plans and Specifications entitled the Traffic Signal Installation at the Intersection of Bernal Avenue and I-680 Freeway southbound off-ramp (CIP#005068) and Completion of the Traffic Signal System at Vineyard Avenue and Pietronave Lane (CIP#075014), and addenda thereto, if any. B. Contract Change Orders approved by the City Engineer, done in accordance with the Standard Specifications.
