CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-139 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION OF THE COURTNEY GROUP, <br /> INC. FOR DESIGN APPROVAL FOR A THREE-STORY OFFICE <br /> BUILDING AND RELATED SIGNAGE ON 2.3 ACRES LOCATED AT THE <br /> SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF OWENS DRIVE AND <br /> CHABOT DRIVE (PUD-81-30-38D) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Courtney Group, Inc. has applied for design approval <br /> for a three-story, approximately 40,000 sq. ft. office <br /> building and related signage, to be located on an <br /> approximately 2.3 acre site located at the southwest <br /> corner of the intersection of Owens Drive and Chabot <br /> Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report a Negative Declaration <br /> was prepared for the development plan of the subject <br /> site (PUD-81-30) including the typical architectural and <br /> site designs for individual lots, and there are no <br /> changed circumstances or new information requiring <br /> additional environmental review; therefore, this <br /> application does not constitute a new project under CEQA <br /> and no new environmental documents accompany this <br /> application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on April 7, 1987 and testimony <br /> taken concerning the proposed project including its <br /> design, cumulative impact, consistency with PUD-81-30 <br /> and the General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has found that the project is <br /> consistent with PUD as well as the City's General Plan; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of The Courtney Group, Inc. <br /> for design approval for a three-story, approximately <br /> 40,000 sq. ft. office building and related signage, on <br /> an approximately 2.3 acre site located at the southwest <br /> corner of the intersection of Owens Drive and Chabot <br /> Drive, subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit "A", <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
