CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 87-138 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL FOR A RETAIL COMMERCIAL CENTER ON 3.8 ACRES LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF WEST LAS POSITAS BOULEVARD AND SANTA RITA ROAD (PUD-S6-1S) WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 7, 1987, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for development plan approval to construct an approximately 47,720 sq. ft. retail commercial center to be located on an approximately 3.8 acre site located at the southeast corner of the intersection of West Las Positas Boulevard and Santa Rita Road (PUD-86-18); and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated November 14, 1986 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed development plan would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment: NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for development plan approval to construct an approximately 47,720 sq. ft. retail commercial center to be located on an approximately 3.8 acre site located at the southeast corner of the intersection of West Las Positas Boulevard and Santa Rita Road (PUD-86-18).
