CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-135 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITM CRAIN & ASSOCIATES <br /> TO PROVIDE TRANSIT PASSES ON CONSIGNMENT TO THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Transportation Systems Management budget for FY87 <br /> includes funds for subsidizing transit passes for <br /> Wheels, BART and the BART Express Bus for City employees <br /> to encourage commuting by transit; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, BART and BART Express Bus passes can be provided on <br /> consignment by Crain & Associates; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council approves the agreement between the <br /> City of Pleasanton and Crain & Associates to simplify <br /> obtaining transit passes for the transit subsidy <br /> program, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> incorporate herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the Mayor to execute the above-described <br /> agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED APRIL 7, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> KEN <br /> <br />J R.
