The work would include generally include operating the city <br />model to evaluate city specific plans, General Plan amendments, and traffic impact studies, as <br />requested by City staff. It would also include developing and implementing refinements to the <br />model as requested by City staff. Some sample tasks that would be involved include: <br />• Perform Traffic Impact Analysis for Development Applications <br />• Perform Traffic Impact Analysis for City Street Improvements <br />• Perform Traffic Impact Analysis for Freeway Improvements <br />• Perform Traffic Impact Analysis for Specific Plan Updates <br />• Perform Traffic Impact Analysis for General Plan Amendments <br />• Perform Traffic Impact Analysis for General Plan Update <br />• Make Various Refinements to City Model (To be determined by staff) <br />Since the amount of effort involved in these tasks varies greatly according to the specifics of the <br />project being analyzed, it is proposed to perform the work on a task order basis. The city would <br />issue a task order request outlining the needed products. Dowling Associates would then prepare <br />a specific scope and budget to address the task order request. The scope and budget would be <br />revised in consultation with City staff. City staff would then issue a task order with the scope <br />and budget attached. <br />Attached is our proposed billing rates for this work, which would be applicable for the year <br />2002.
