MINUTES CITY OF PLEASANTON REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING February 5, 2008 CALL TO ORDER Mayor Hosterman called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Sullivan led the Pledge of Allegiance. Introductory Comments Councilmember Sullivan gave the following introductory comments: The City of Pleasanton will host two public workshops focused on the 17-acre community park planned for the Staples rd Ranch property on February 7 and 9 at Mohr Elementary School; February 9, the 33 Annual th Campana Jazz Festival will be held at the Amador Valley High School; February 10 the Silver Moon Band performs free at the Pleasanton Public Library; online registration for City of th Pleasanton recreation programs begins February 13. Roll Call Present: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman Absent: None Closed Session Conference with Labor Negotiators pursuant to Government Code §54957.6: Agency representatives: Nelson Fialho and Julie Yuan-Miu Employee organization: Pleasanton Police Officers Association Conference with Legal Counsel – Existing Litigation, pursuant to Government Code §54956.9(a): City Attorney Roush said no reported action was taken in Closed Session. AGENDA AMENDMENTS - None CONSENT CALENDAR Administrative Services 1. Approved special and regular minutes of January 15, 2008, as amended. 2. Resolution No. 08-168 Adopted amending the Records Retention Schedule 3. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute an agreement with Granicus, Inc., for computer equipment and services to facilitate streaming and distribution of video and audio content for city council and other city meetings City Attorney 4. Ordinance No. 1967 Waived second reading and adopted amending sections 1.04.090, 3.20.120, and 5.24.030 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code regarding Claims Against the City
