RESOLUTION NO. 87-131 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CALLING FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS <br /> <br /> NORTH PLEASANTON IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1982-4 <br /> <br /> The City Counoil of the City of Pleasanton resolves: <br /> <br /> 1. This City Counoil'has given preliminary approval to <br />the report of the Engineer of Work for improvements in North <br />Pleasanton Improvement Distriot No. 1982-4, City of Pleasanton, <br />Alameda County, California. The report inoludes plans and <br />speoifioations for the oonstruotion of improvements desoribed in the <br />report. <br /> <br /> S. The City of Pleasanton will reoeive sealed proposals <br />for oonstruotion of the Santa Rita Road and Valley Avenue Street <br />Improvements ProJeot No. NPID 8~-4E not later than ~:00 P.M. on <br />Thursday, May ~, 198~, in the offJoe of the City Clerk looated at <br />200 Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. At that time and plaoe <br />the sealed proposals Will be publioly opened, examined and deolared. <br /> <br /> 3. The City Counoil reserves the power in its disoretion <br />to reJeot all proposals. The award of oonstruotion oontraot, if <br />made, shall be made to the lowest responsible bidder within the time <br />fixed in the speoifioations (or any extension of time agreed to by <br />the City and the lowest responsible bidder). <br /> <br /> 4. The City Clerk is direoted to publish a notjoe <br />inviting sealed proposals in TEE TINES in aooordanoe with the <br />Munioipal Improvement Aot of 1913. .The Engineer of Work is <br />authorized to give additional notjoe and to distribute additional <br />information as neoessary in the Judgment of the Engineer of Work, to <br />seoure oompetitive bidding. <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> <br />
