C~TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-125 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF QUITCLAIM DEED FOR SUBTERRANEAN WATER AND <br /> QUITCLAIM OF CITY RIGHTS OF SURFACE ENTRY FROM VALLEY <br /> MEMORIAL HOSPITAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is in receipt of a Quitclaim Deed from The <br /> Hospital Committee for the Livermore-Pleasanton Area, as <br /> to Lot 2, and Hospital Committee for the <br /> Livermore-Pleasanton Area, Inc., as to Lot 1, to the <br /> City of Pleasanton for subterranean waters, without <br /> rights of surface entry, which is given in exchange for <br /> a Quitclaim Deed from the City of Pleasanton to the <br /> Hospital Committee for surface entry rights and <br /> easements, if any, related to the extraction of water; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 7, 1987, the City Council <br /> received a report from the Assistant City Attorney <br /> (SR 87:122) indicating that the exchange of these deeds <br /> is in the public interest; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Authorizes the Mayor to execute the Quitclaim Deed <br /> from the City of Pleasanton to The Hospital Committee <br /> for the Livermore-Pleasanton Area, a California <br /> corporation, as to Lot 2, and Hospital Committee for the <br /> Livermore-Pleasanton Area, Inc., a California <br /> corporation, as to Lot 1, for surface entry rights and <br /> easements, if any, related to the extraction of water in <br /> Parcels 1 and 2 of Parcel Map 4390. <br /> <br />Section 2: Accepts a Quitclaim Deed from The Hospital Committee <br /> for the Livermore-Pleasanton Area, a California <br /> Corporation, as to Lot 2, and the Hospital Committee for <br /> the Livermore-Pleasanton Area, Inc., a California <br /> Corporation, as to Lot 1, for subterranean waters, <br /> without rights of surface entry for Parcels 1 and 2 of <br /> Parcel Map 4390, and the appropriate City officers are <br /> instructed to take whatever action necessary to <br /> implement said acceptance. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
