CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-121 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF DEED FROM PLEASANTON SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR <br /> PROPOSED MAIN STREET EXTENSION TO BERNAL AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is in receipt of a deed from the Pleasanton <br /> School District to the City of Pleasanton, a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference, for purposes of the proposed Main Street <br /> extension to Bernal Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 7, 1987, the City Council <br /> received a report from the Assistant City Attorney <br /> (SR 87:134) indicating that the acceptance of this deed <br /> is in the public interest; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Grant Deed from Pleasanton Joint School District <br /> of Alameda and Contra Costa Counties, State of <br /> California, to the City of Pleasanton for the proposed <br /> Main Street extension to Bernal Avenue is hereby <br /> accepted and the appropriate City officers are <br /> instructed to take whatever action necessary to <br /> implement said acceptance. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED APRIL 7, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None ~2~/~,~,~ <br />ATTEST: <br /> K~ETH R.'
