CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-119 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION FINDING THAT THE DRAFT NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br /> PREPARED BY BART IS APPROPRIATE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 17, 1987, Council reviewed a <br /> report from the Director of Planning and Community <br /> Development (SR 87:120) regarding the draft negative <br /> declaration prepared by BART for the proposed BART <br /> Park-and-Ride Facility at a Stoneridge Mall location; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed Park-and-Ride <br /> Facility; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed Park-and-Ride <br /> Facility would not have any significant adverse effects <br /> on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council finds that the draft Negative <br /> Declaration prepared by BART is appropriate and directs <br /> staff to inform BART of this finding of appropriateness. <br /> <br />Section 2: Directs staff to continue to work with BART in the <br /> final design of the pedestrian bridge, site plan, and <br /> other final design aspects of the plan. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
