CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-116 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE <br /> LAND USE ELEMENT CHANGING THE DESIGNATION OF <br /> APPROXIMATELY 3800 SQ. FT. AT 195 BERNAL AVENUE FROM <br /> "COMMERCIAL AND OFFICES" TO "HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" <br /> (GP-87-1) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received an application from George <br /> Marment for a General Plan change to the Land Use <br /> Element of the General Plan to change the land use <br /> designation of approximately 3800 sq. ft. at 195 Bernal <br /> Avenue from "Commercial and Offices" to "High Density <br /> Residential"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on the <br /> proposed change and has recommended approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 17, 1987, at which <br /> time the City Council reviewed the proposed General Plan <br /> amendment and considered all reports, documents, <br /> testimony, and recommendations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Negative Declaration was adopted for the proposed <br /> change on March 17, 1987; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make a change to the Land <br /> Use Element of the General Plan at this time as one of <br /> the four times during the calendar year such changes may <br /> be made; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council approves the application of George <br /> Marment for a General Plan amendment to change the land <br /> use designation of a 3800 sq. ft. site at 195 Bernal <br /> Avenue from "Commercial and Offices" to "High Density <br /> Residential".
