REAL PROPERTY PURCHASE CONTRACT <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this 21st day of <br /> <br />January , 1987, by and between PLEASANTON JOINT SCHOOL <br /> <br />DISTRICT OF ALAMEDA AND CONTRA COSTA COUNTIES (hereinafter <br />"Owner") and the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation <br />(hereinafter "City" ) . <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, PLEASANTON JOINT SCHOOL DISTRICT OF ALAMEDA AND <br />CONTRA COSTA COUNTIES owns approximately two acres of land which <br />has one office building, the School Administration Center, built <br />on the land located at 121 Main Street in the City of Pleasanton; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City desires to acquire the subject property from <br />Owner for road right-of-way and the purchase of the School <br />Administration Center for a City office building; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Owner is willing to sell City the land needed for <br />these purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Owner desires an option to allow the Owner <br />sufficient time to renovate office space on other school <br />property; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City is willing to accept an option for purchase of <br />the School Administration Center; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br /> - 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
