Design Scope: Exterior paving, play yard design, site amenities, fencing, site grading, planting and <br />irrigation. <br />B. Design Development: Based on approved site studies and estimated construction budget, prepare design <br />development drawings showing: <br />1. Play yard designs, courtyard areas, walks and paths. <br />2. Paving finishes, seatwalls, steps, ramps and landscape furnishings. <br />3. Conceptual grading studies for paving and softscape areas. <br />' 4. Plant material types. <br />.,.. . <br />C. Construction Documentation: <br />1. Dimension plan: Establishment of horizontal control of landscape elements. <br />2. Grading plan: Establishment of finish grades in landscaped areas, set catch basin elevations and storm <br />drainage. <br />3. Landscape Construction Details such as paving, seatwalls, trellises, fences, play features and site <br />amenities. <br />4. Structural details for trellis and calculations. <br />5. Planting plan and details. <br />6. irrigation plan and details. <br />7. Specification sections. <br />D. Construction Consultation: <br />1. The Landscape Architect shall visit the site at intervals appropriate to the stage of construction to become <br />generally familiar with the progress of the Work, but shall not be required to make exhaustive or <br />continuous on-site observations. On the basis of said site visits, the Landscape Architect shall <br />keep the client informed of the progress and quality of the Work. <br />2. An estimate of 8 site visits are anticipated during the course of the construction work. <br />3. The Landscape Architect shall not be responsible for the construction contractor's performance or safety <br />measures. <br />END OF EXHIBIT A <br />
