CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-55 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION OF WEST STATES <br /> DEVELOPMENT COMPANY AND BERNAL AVENUE ASSOCIATES FOR <br /> DESIGN APPROVAL FOR A DAYCARE FACILITY LOCATED ON <br /> APPROXIMATELY 1.2 ACRES ON THE NORTH SIDE OF KOLL CENTER <br /> PARKWAY APPROXIMATELY 250 FEET WEST OF THE INTERSECTION <br /> OF VALLEY AVENUE AND KOLL CENTER PARKWAY (PUD-S0-2-4D) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, West States Development Company and Bernal Avenue <br /> Associates (Koll Company) has applied for design <br /> approval for an approximately 7,860 sq. ft. daycare <br /> facility, a freestanding monument sign, and related <br /> improvements, to be located on an approximately 1.2 acre <br /> site on the north side of Koll Center Parkway <br /> approximately 250 feet west of the intersection of <br /> Valley Avenue and Koll Center Parkway (PUD-80-2-4D); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the <br /> development plan of the subject site (PUD-80-2) <br /> including the typical architectural and site designs for <br /> individual lots, and there are no changed circumstances <br /> or new information requiring additional environmental <br /> review; therefore, this application does not constitute <br /> a new project under CEQA and no new environmental <br /> documents accompany this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on February 3, 1987 and <br /> testimony taken concerning the proposed project <br /> including its design, cumulative impact, consistency <br /> with PUD-80-2 and the General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has found that the project is <br /> consistent with PUD-80-2 as well as the City's General <br /> Plan; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of West States Development <br /> Company and Bernal Avenue Associates (Koll Company) for <br /> design approval for an approximately 7,860 sq. ft. <br /> daycare facility, a freestanding monument sign, and <br /> related improvements, to be located on an approximately <br /> 1.2 acre site on the north side of Koll Center Parkway <br /> approximately 250 feet west of the intersection of <br /> Valley Avenue and Koll Center Parkway (PUD-80-2-4D), <br /> subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit "A", <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
