CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-53 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTIO~ DENYING APPLICATION OF MEYER PROPERTIES, I~C. <br /> FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW A BANK IN AN <br /> EXISTING OFFICE BUILDING AT 5000 MOPYARD ROAD (UP-86-54) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Meyer Properties, Inc. made application for a <br /> conditional use permit to allow a bank in an existing <br /> office building at 5000 Hopyard Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the <br /> conditional use permit; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed a staff report, minutes of the <br /> Planning Commission action, and held a public hearing on <br /> February 3, 1987 to receive comments from the applicant <br /> and the public; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby denies the application of <br /> Meyer Properties, Inc. for a conditional use permit to <br /> allow a bank in an existing office building at 5000 <br /> Hopyard Road (UP-86-54) without prejudice to reapply <br /> upon completion of the downtown specific plan studies. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED FEBRUARY 3, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Wilson and Vice Mayor Mohr <br />NOES: Councilmember Butler <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: Councilmember Brandes and Mayor~e~,~~ <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> .'
