CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 87-39 ACCEPTANCE OF DEED FROM IRENE C. PONS AND EUGENE D. PONS FOR PROPOSED DEL VALLE PARKWAY WHEREAS, the City is in receipt of a deed from Irene C. Pons and Eugene D. Pons to the City of Pleasanton, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, for purposes of street right-of-way for Del Valle Parkway; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 3, 1987, the City Council received a report from the Director of Public Works and Utilities (SR 87:44) indicating that the acceptance of this deed is in the public interest; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The Grant Deed from Irene C. Pons and Eugene D. Pons to the City of Pleasanton for purposes of street right-of-way for Del Valle Parkway is hereby accepted and the appropriate City officers are instructed to take whatever action necessary to implement said acceptance. Section 2: Staff is authorized to deposit $153,000 into escrow for the purchase of the subject property. Section 3: Authorizes the Director of Public Works and Utilities to execute the Real Property Purchase Contract, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
