PLANNING COMMISSION City of Pleasanton County of Alameda State of California Resolution No. 1561 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON MAKING THE FINDING THAT THE PROPOSAL FILED UNDER UP-77-13 WILL NOT HAVE A SIGNIFICANT EFFECT ON THE ENVIRONMENT. WHEREAS, Alisal Lodge #321 has applied for a conditional use permit to allow the construction and use of a masonic lodge to be located at the intersection of Hopyard Road and Valley Trails Drive South; and WHEREAS, in conjunction with this review an environmental assessment in the form of an Initial Study for the project has been conducted; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this matter on September 14, 1977, and an opportunity was given to hear public testimony on the potential environmental impacts of the project and no public testimony was given; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's guidelines and processing procedures for the evaluation of projects and preparation of environmental impact reports as they pertained to the requirements for Negative Declara- tions and Environmental Impact Reports to determine if a Negative Declaration is appropriate and what mitigation measures must be undertaken to insure that the project will not have a significant effect upon the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment and a negative declaration is the appropriate environmental document to be prepared for this project. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
