PLANNING COMMISSION <br />City of Pleasanton <br />County of Alameda <br />State of California <br />Resolution No. 1561 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />MAKING THE FINDING THAT THE PROPOSAL FILED UNDER UP-77-13 WILL NOT <br />HAVE A SIGNIFICANT EFFECT ON THE ENVIRONMENT. <br />WHEREAS, Alisal Lodge #321 has applied for a conditional use permit <br />to allow the construction and use of a masonic lodge to be <br />located at the intersection of Hopyard Road and Valley <br />Trails Drive South; and <br />WHEREAS, in conjunction with this review an environmental assessment <br />in the form of an Initial Study for the project has been <br />conducted; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this <br />matter on September 14, 1977, and an opportunity was given <br />to hear public testimony on the potential environmental <br />impacts of the project and no public testimony was given; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's <br />guidelines and processing procedures for the evaluation of <br />projects and preparation of environmental impact reports <br />as they pertained to the requirements for Negative Declara- <br />tions and Environmental Impact Reports to determine if a <br />Negative Declaration is appropriate and what mitigation <br />measures must be undertaken to insure that the project <br />will not have a significant effect upon the environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that the project will not <br />have a significant effect on the environment and a negative <br />declaration is the appropriate environmental document to be <br />prepared for this project. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 14th day of September, 1977, by the <br />following vote: <br />
