PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1563 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON MAKING THE FINDING THAT THE PROPOSED PROJECT FILED UNDER PUD-77-6, WILL NOT HAVE A SIGNIFICANT ADVERSE IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT. WHEREAS, Darwin Datwyler has applied to rezone a 2.56 acre parcel of land located between the Arroyo del Valle and the future Del Valle Parkway roughly 1,600 feet east of Hopyard Road from the RM-2000 (Multiple Family Residential) District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) District and to approve a development plan proposing the construction of a 22-unit, two-story townhouse develresidence onlthely westerly of the existing single family lot; and WHEREAS, in conjunction with this review an environmental assess- -- ment in the form of an Initial Study for the project has been conducted; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this matter at its September 14, 1977, meeting, and an oppor- tunity was given to hear public testimony on the potential environmental impacts of the project and no public testi- mony was given; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's guidelines and processing procedures for the evalu- ation of projects and preparation of environmental impact reports as they pertain to the requirements for Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports to determine if a Negative Declaration is appropriate and what mitigation measures must be undertaken so the project will not have a significant adverse effect upon the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment and a negative declaration is the appropriate environmental document to be prepared for this project. -1-
