PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1563 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON MAKING THE FINDING THAT THE PROPOSED PROJECT <br />FILED UNDER PUD-77-6, WILL NOT HAVE A SIGNIFICANT ADVERSE <br />IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT. <br />WHEREAS, Darwin Datwyler has applied to rezone a 2.56 acre parcel of <br />land located between the Arroyo del Valle and the future <br />Del Valle Parkway roughly 1,600 feet east of Hopyard Road <br />from the RM-2000 (Multiple Family Residential) District <br />to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) District and to <br />approve a development plan proposing the construction <br />of a 22-unit, two-story townhouse develresidence onlthely <br />westerly of the existing single family <br />lot; and <br />WHEREAS, in conjunction with this review an environmental assess- <br />-- ment in the form of an Initial Study for the project has <br />been conducted; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this <br />matter at its September 14, 1977, meeting, and an oppor- <br />tunity was given to hear public testimony on the potential <br />environmental impacts of the project and no public testi- <br />mony was given; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the <br />City's guidelines and processing procedures for the evalu- <br />ation of projects and preparation of environmental impact <br />reports as they pertain to the requirements for Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports to determine <br />if a Negative Declaration is appropriate and what mitigation <br />measures must be undertaken so the project will not have a <br />significant adverse effect upon the environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that the project will not <br />have a significant effect on the environment and a negative <br />declaration is the appropriate environmental document to be <br />prepared for this project. <br />-1- <br />
