PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1566 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON FINDING THAT THE APPROXIMATELY 14-ACRE <br />PARCEL OF VACANT LAND LOCATED BETWEEN VAL VISTA TRACT <br />AND THE V.C.S.D. SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT IS IN CON- <br />FORMITY WITH THE GENERAL PLAN. <br />WHEREAS, Section 65402(a) of the Government Code of the State of <br />California requires that no real property may be acquired <br />for any public purpose nor may any public property be dis- <br />posed of until the Planning Commission has reported to the ~ <br />City Council as to the conformity of such actions with the ~ <br />General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, <br />the consideration of the <br />14-acre parcel of vacant <br />and the Valley Community <br />plant; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is proposed <br />Station for expansion of <br />and <br />on September 14, 1977, reviewed <br />City to purchase the approximately <br />land located between Val Vista <br />Services District sewage treatment <br />to be used as the site of a Fire <br />Val Vista Park or other public use; <br />WHEREAS, the property is designated on the General Plan as Public <br />and Institutional, and is proposed to be used for public <br />purposes. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that the purchase of the <br />approximately 14-acre parcel of vacant land located between <br />Val Vista and the Valley Community Services District Sewage <br />Treatment Plant, is in conformity with the General Plan. <br />Section 2.
