PLANNING COMMISSION <br />- CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1571 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON MAKING THE FINDING THAT THE PROPOSED REZONING <br />FILED UNDER RZ-77-13 WILL NOT HAVE A SIGNIFICANT IMPACT <br />ON THE ENVIRONMENT. <br />WHEREAS, Site Selectors, Inc., Jo Betty Allen and Raymond Young have <br />applied to rezone property located at 915, 923 and 929 Santa <br />Rita Road from the C-S (Commercial Service) and C-F (Commer- <br />cial Freeway) Districts to the C-C (Central Commercial) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, in conjunction with this rezoning request, rezoning of the <br />approximately .23 acre site of a non-function gasoline bulk <br />plant owned by Exxon Corporation was initiated in conjunction <br />with the rezoning request filed under RZ-77-13; and <br />WHEREAS, in conjunction with this review an environmental assessment <br />in the form of an Initial Study for the project has been <br />conducted; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this matter <br />at its October 12, 1977 meeting and an opportunity was given <br />to hear public testimony on the potential environmental <br />impact of the project and no public testimony was given; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's <br />guidelines and processing procedures for the evaluation of <br />projects in preparation of environmental reports as they <br />pertained to the requirements for negative declarations and <br />environmetal reports to determine if a negative declaration is <br />appropriate and what mitigation measures must be undertaken <br />to insure that the project will not have a significant effect <br />upon the environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that the project will not <br />have a significant adverse effect on the environment and a <br />negative declaration is the appropriate environmental document <br />to be prepared for this project. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commisiion of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 12th day of October, 1977, by the following vote: <br />
