PLANNING COMMISSION - CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1571 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON MAKING THE FINDING THAT THE PROPOSED REZONING FILED UNDER RZ-77-13 WILL NOT HAVE A SIGNIFICANT IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT. WHEREAS, Site Selectors, Inc., Jo Betty Allen and Raymond Young have applied to rezone property located at 915, 923 and 929 Santa Rita Road from the C-S (Commercial Service) and C-F (Commer- cial Freeway) Districts to the C-C (Central Commercial) District; and WHEREAS, in conjunction with this rezoning request, rezoning of the approximately .23 acre site of a non-function gasoline bulk plant owned by Exxon Corporation was initiated in conjunction with the rezoning request filed under RZ-77-13; and WHEREAS, in conjunction with this review an environmental assessment in the form of an Initial Study for the project has been conducted; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this matter at its October 12, 1977 meeting and an opportunity was given to hear public testimony on the potential environmental impact of the project and no public testimony was given; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's guidelines and processing procedures for the evaluation of projects in preparation of environmental reports as they pertained to the requirements for negative declarations and environmetal reports to determine if a negative declaration is appropriate and what mitigation measures must be undertaken to insure that the project will not have a significant effect upon the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that the project will not have a significant adverse effect on the environment and a negative declaration is the appropriate environmental document to be prepared for this project. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
