PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1581 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON FINDING CONFORMITY WITH THE GENERAL PLAN <br />FOR ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY AS A PART OF THE <br />LAVWMA PROJECT. <br />WHEREAS, in conjunction with development of the LAVWMA project, it will <br />be necessary for LAVWMA to acquire certain properties; and <br />WHEREAS, said acquisitions will be for an export pump station and <br />regulating reservoirs proposed to be constructed on property <br />located south of the Commerce Circle industrial development <br />and approximately 700 ft. east of Johnson Industrial Drive, <br />and a junction structure to be located on property just <br />north of the future Stoneridge Drive approximately 750 ft. <br />east of the Alamo Canal; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the properties are A (Agricultural) and I-G <br />(General Industrial); and <br />WHEREAS, Section 65402(a) of the Government Code of the State of <br />- California requires that no real property may be acquired <br />for any public purpose until the Planning Commission has <br />reported as to the conformity of such actions with the <br />General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the properties are designated on the General Plan as <br />"Agriculture and Grazing or Industrial." <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that acquisition of the <br />properties noted in the foregoing is in conformity with <br />the General Plan. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 9th day of November, 1977, by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, <br />Chairman Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Jamieson, Shepherd, Wood and <br />ATTEST: Secretary Harris <br />
