PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1584 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON DENYING RZ-77-15 AS PETITIONED, <br />WHEREAS, Mobil Oil Corporation applied for a rezoning application <br />for a 0.61 acre site at 5311 Hopyard Road from the C-F <br />(Freeway Commercial) District to the C-S (Commercial Ser- <br />vice) District; and <br />WHEREAS, if approved, the C-S zoning would permit the establishment <br />of a mini-food mart in a portion of the service station; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this ap- <br />plication on November 9, 1977, at which time all pertinent <br />maps, drawings, documents and testimony were reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission also considered during the same <br />hearings, the possibility of amending the C-F (Commercial <br />Freeway) District to include "snack shops"; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was concerned that the activity <br />might become a miniature 7-11 store; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission expressed concern regarding pro- <br />posed sale of wine and beer. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton denies <br />RZ-77-15, as petitioned. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 9th day of November, 1977, by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Shepherd, Wood, Chairman Butler <br />NOES: Commissioner Jamieson <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST: Secretary Harris <br />Date: November 9, 1977 <br />Attest: ~ <br />~~ <br />Robert J.
