PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 1588 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON MAKING THE FINDING THAT THE PROJECT FILED UNDER GP-77-5, WILL NOT HAVE A SIGNIFICANT EFFECT ON THE ENVIRONMENT. WHEREAS, Lee Slaughter has applied for a general plan amendment which would change the land use designation of a 3.8 acre parcel of land located along the west side of the S.P.R. R., begin- nining at the intersection of Santa Rita Road and the S.P.R.R. (near Sutter Gate Avenue), and extending about 1,500 feet south from "Open Space-Public Health and Safety" to "General and Limited Industrial"; and WHEREAS, in conjunction with this review an environmental assessment in the form of an Initial Study for the project has been conducted; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission on November 9, 1977, reviewed the potential environmental impacts associated with this project and identified in the Initial Study; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at their November 9, 1977 meeting, held a public hearing to receive testimony on the potential environmental impact of the proposed project; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's guidelines and processing procedures for the evaluation of projects and preparation of environmental impact reports as they pertain to the requirements of negative declarations and environmental impact reports to determine if a negative declaration is appropriate. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that the project will not have any significant adverse effects on the environment and that a negative declaration will be prepared. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton -1-
