PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1590 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR <br />THE VALLEY VOLUNTEER BUREAU FILED UNDER UP-77-19. <br />WHEREAS, the Valley Volunteer Bureau has filed a conditional use <br />permit application to establish a volunteer bureau at 519 <br />Kottinger Drive (the Police Training Building); and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned R-1-6500 (Single Family) District; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, on November 9, 1977, held a public <br />hearing at which time all pertinent maps, drawings, docu- <br />ments, reports and testimony were reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the findings that: <br />A. That the proposed location of the conditional use is <br />in accord with the objectives of this chapter and the <br />purposes of the district in which the site is located. <br />B. That the proposed location of the conditional use and <br />the conditions under which it would be operated or <br />maintained will not be detrimental to the public health, <br />safety or welfare or be materially injurious to pro- <br />perties or improvements in the vicinity. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with each <br />of the applicable provisions of the chapter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-77-19, subject to the <br />following condition: <br />1. That this use permit is granted for the Valley Volunteer <br />Bureau only and granted for a period of one (1) year <br />at which time the Bureau must either cease operation on <br />the subject site or reapply to the City for a new con- <br />ditional use permit. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days from the <br />date of passage and adoption, on November 24, 1977. <br />-1- <br />
