PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1591 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON MAKING THE FINDING THAT THE PROJECT FILED UNDER Z-77-164, WILL NOT HAVE A SIGNIFICANT EFFECT ON THE ENVIRONMENT. WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has filed for design review approval to enlarge the existing City Hall at 200 Bernal Avenue, by the addition of office space and a meeting room/Council Chamber; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is P (Public and Institutional) and C-O (Civic Overlay) Districts; and WHEREAS, in conjunction with this review an environmental assessment in the form of an Initial Study for the project has been conducted; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, on November 9, 1977, reviewed the potential environmental impacts associated with this project and identified in the Initial Study; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at their November 9, 1977, meeting held a public hearing to receive testimony on the potential environmental impact of the proposed project; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's guidelines and processing procedures for the evaluation of projects and preparation of environmental impact reports as they pertain to the requirements of negative declarations and environmental impact reports to determine if a negative declaration is appropriate and what mitigation measures, if any, must be undertaken to insure that the project will not have a significant effect upon the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that the project will not have any significant adverse effects on the environment and that a negative declaration will be prepared. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton -1-
