- PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1594 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON FINDING CONFORMITY WITH THE GENERAL PLAN <br />FOR CONVEYANCE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE <br />SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF VALLEY AVENUE <br />AND SANTA RITA ROAD. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton is proposing to convey approximately <br />2,450 sq, ft. of surplus right-of-way property located on <br />the south side of Valley Avenue just east of Santa Rita Road <br />to Otho Keefe; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 65402(a) of the Government Code of the State of <br />California requires that no real property may be acquired <br />for any public purpose nor may any public property be disposed <br />of until the Planning Commission has reported to the City <br />Council as to the conformity of such actions with the General <br />Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, on November 9, 1977, reviewed the <br />consideration of the City to convey said property. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that the conveyance of ap- <br />proximately 2,450 sq. ft. of surplus right-of-way property <br />located on the south side of Valley Avenue just east of Santa <br />Rita Road to Otho Keefe, would be in conformity with the <br />General Plan. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 9th day of November, 1977, by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Shepherd, Wood, Chairman <br />Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST: Secretary Harris <br />Date: November 9, 1977 <br />Attest: . <br />Robert J.
