PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1595 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON MAKING THE FINDING THAT THE ENVIRONMENTAL <br />IMPACT REPORT PREPARED FOR GP-76-6, THOMAS K. McMANUS, <br />MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS OF CEQA. <br />WHEREAS, Thomas K. McManus has applied for a general plan amendment <br />to change the land use designation of an approximately 66- <br />acre parcel of land located immediately east of Hopyard <br />Road from "Parks and Recreation" to "Medium Density <br />Residential"; and <br />WHEREAS, an environmental impact report has been prepared for the <br />proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the general plan amendment and the environmental impact <br />report was scheduled to be reviewed by the Planning Com- <br />mission on December 14, 1977; and <br />WHEREAS, prior to review of the proposed general plan amendment, <br />the Planning Commission reviewed the environmental impact <br />report; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the following specific findings: <br />1. That the EIR has been completed in compliance with <br />CEQA and the state guidelines; <br />2. That the Planning Commission has reviewed and con- <br />sidered the information contained in the EIR; and <br />3. That the project would have a significant impact as <br />identified on Page 40 of the EIR, "Significant Adverse <br />Environmental Impacts," and that the area affected is <br />the City of Pleasanton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommend to the City Council acceptance of the environ- <br />mental impact report. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission on the 14th day of <br />
