PURPOSE <br />The purpose of Carden-West Elementary School is to <br />provide the families of the conununity with the choice of <br />being able to send their children to a school in which <br />the classroom size is substantially lower than that which <br />is offered in public school. By choosing to pay a <br />yearly tuition for this service, parents can thereby <br />give to their children the benefits that can accrue <br />to them from this increased amount of personal attention. <br />Because of this, education can proceed to greater depths <br />of understanding and the child can be better prepared <br />when entering higher institutions of learning. <br />The school stresses basic education (Reading, <br />English, Arithmetic, Geography, History, and Science) <br />until real skill is achieved. Then the cultural <br />subjects of Music, Art and French are introduced and <br />maintained. <br />
