PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1598 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON MAKING THE FINDING THAT THE PROJECT FILED UNDER UP-77-22 WILL NOT HAVE A SIGNIFICANT EFFECT ON THE ENVIRONMENT. WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has filed for a conditional use permit to allow the construction and operation of a pump station on an approximately three quarter acre site located on the southside of Bernal Avenue immediately west of the Western Pacific Railroad tracts; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is I-P (Industrial Park) District; and WHEREAS, in conjunction with this review, an environmental assessment in the form of an initial study for the project has been conducted; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, on December 14, 1977, reviewed the potential environmental impact associated with this project and identified in the initial study; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at their December 14, 1977, meeting held a public hearing to receive testimony on the potential environmental impacts of the proposed project; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's guidelines and processing procedures with evaluation of projects and preparation of environmental impact reports as they pertain to requirements of negative declarations and environmental impact reports to determine if a negative declaration is appropriate and what mitigation measures, if any, must be undertaken to insure that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, the Planning Commission resolves as follows: Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that the project will not have any significant impacts on the environment and that a negative declaration will be prepared. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. -1-
