PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1598 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON MAKING THE FINDING THAT THE PROJECT <br />FILED UNDER UP-77-22 WILL NOT HAVE A SIGNIFICANT <br />EFFECT ON THE ENVIRONMENT. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has filed for a conditional use <br />permit to allow the construction and operation of a pump <br />station on an approximately three quarter acre site located <br />on the southside of Bernal Avenue immediately west of the <br />Western Pacific Railroad tracts; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is I-P (Industrial Park) District; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, in conjunction with this review, an environmental assessment <br />in the form of an initial study for the project has been <br />conducted; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, on December 14, 1977, reviewed the <br />potential environmental impact associated with this project <br />and identified in the initial study; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at their December 14, 1977, meeting <br />held a public hearing to receive testimony on the potential <br />environmental impacts of the proposed project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's <br />guidelines and processing procedures with evaluation of <br />projects and preparation of environmental impact reports <br />as they pertain to requirements of negative declarations and <br />environmental impact reports to determine if a negative <br />declaration is appropriate and what mitigation measures, <br />if any, must be undertaken to insure that the project will <br />not have a significant effect on the environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Planning Commission resolves as follows: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that the project will not <br />have any significant impacts on the environment and that <br />a negative declaration will be prepared. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />-1- <br />
