PLANNING COMMISSION <br />City of Pleasanton <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1401 <br />A RESOLUTION STATING CONFORMITY WITFI <br />THF, PLEASANTON GEIIERAL PLAN FOR DF=DI- <br />CATION OF 2.06 PARK SITE IN HERITAGE <br />VALLEY. <br />WHEREAS, the City is in receipt of a Corporation Grant <br />Deed from D4orrison Homes dedicating to the City a 2.06 acre <br />park site in Heritage Valley. This site is a portion of the <br />4.5+_ acre central park originally contemplated for the Heritage <br />Valley development. This 2.06 acre dedication satisfies the <br />park dedication requirements for Unit 1, Tract 3184;, and <br />A7HF.REAS, Government Code Section 95402(a) requires that <br />"If a General Flan or part thereof has been adopted, no real <br />property shall be acquired by dedication or otherwise for street, <br />square, par}: or other public purposes...until the location, <br />purpose and extent of such acquisition...have been submitted <br />to and reported upon by the planning agency as to conformity <br />with said adopted general plan or part thereof;" and <br />WHEREAS, attached herewith is a plat showing the park site <br />conveyed to the City (Exhibit A); and <br />WHEREAS, the Pleasanton General Plan shows a park in the <br />area being offered for dedication. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />ANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />PLEAS <br />Section 1. That the Planning Commission finds conformity <br />between the General Plan and the offered dedication. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective imme- <br />diately upon passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City <br />
