CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-29 <br /> <br /> APPROVAL OF REAL PROPERTY PURCHASE AND EXCHANGE CONTRACT <br /> AND ACCEPTANCE OF DEED FOR THE MAIN STREET REALIGNMENT <br /> WITH BERNAL AVENUE FROM MICHAEL JOHN BONASERA, ET AL. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to complete the realignment of Main Street with <br /> Bernal Avenue, it is necessary to complete a real <br /> property purchase and exchange with Michael Bonasera, et <br /> al.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is in receipt of a deed from Michael John <br /> Bonasera and Diana L. Bonasera, his wife, Stephen J. <br /> Corio and Toni Patricia Corio, his wife, Thomas B. <br /> Bonasera and Donna Bonasera, his wife, M. T. Bonasera, a <br /> single man, and M. T. Bonasera, as Executor of the <br /> Estate of Marye G. Bonasera, to the City of Pleasanton, <br /> a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated <br /> herein by this reference, for purposes of Main Street <br /> realignment with Bernal Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 20, 1987, the City Council <br /> received a report (SR 87:29) from the Director of Public <br /> Works and Utilities indicating that the real property <br /> transaction is in the public interest; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Grant Deed from Michael John Bonasera and Diana <br />L. Bonasera, his wife, Stephen J. Corio and Toni <br /> Patricia Corio, his wife, Thomas B. Bonasera and Donna <br /> Bonasera, his wife, M. T. Bonasera a single man, and M. <br /> T. Bonasera as Executor of the Estate of Marye G. <br /> Bonasera, to the City of Pleasanton for street right of <br /> way for the Main Street realignment with Bernal Avenue <br /> is hereby accepted and the appropriate City officers are <br /> instructed to take whatever action necessary to <br /> implement said acceptance. <br /> <br /> Section 2: Authorize the Director of Finance to deposit into <br /> escrow the sum of $13,084.00. <br /> <br /> Section 3: Authorizes the Director of Public Works to execute <br /> the Real Property Purchase Contract, a copy of which is <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference. <br /> <br /> Section 4: Authorizes the Mayor to execute the Grant Deed from <br /> the City of Pleasanton to Michael J. Bonasera, et al. <br /> <br /> <br />
