PLANNING CON1*1ISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASAiQTON <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTIONQ N0. 1430 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNIiG CUN~TIISSION <br />RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL THE <br />APPROVAL OF THE PROPOSED REZONING OF <br />APPROXIMATELY 24 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED <br />SOUTH OF THE DEL VALLE PARKWAY, INR'IEDIATELY <br />EAST OF HOPYARD ROAD, FROM PUD (RM-2500) TO <br />R-1-6500 DISTRICT. <br />[~THEREAS, Morrison Homes, owner of the vacant 24 acre parcel <br /> located south of the Del Valle parkway, immediately <br /> east of Hopyard Road wishes to rezone the property <br /> from PUD (Ri`1-2500) to R-1-6500; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed rezoning would bring the property <br /> into conformity with the General Plan, which was <br /> amended from high density to medium density residen- <br /> tial on September 16, 1974; and <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report has been prepared for <br /> this application, was delivered to the Planning <br /> Commission onJune 18, 1976 and was used in making <br /> this recommendation; and <br />WHEREAS, on July 14-, 1976 the Planning Commission held a <br /> public hearing on the proposed rezoning, received <br /> the staff report and took testimony concerning the <br /> proposed rezoning. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTO <br />HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOL~TS <br />Section 1. Recommends to the City Council the approval of the <br /> proposed rezoning from PUD (RM-2500) to R-1-6500. <br />Section 2.
