PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1437 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR <br />THE EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH. <br />WfiEREAS, the Evangelical Free Church has applied for a <br />conditional use permit to allow the use of approxi- <br />mately 9.5 acres located on the east side of Valley <br />Trails Drive midway between Virgin Islands Court <br />and Yosemite Court South, for the construction and <br />operation of a church and related facilities; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is P (Public and Institutional) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing <br />on this request and has reviewed pertinent maps, <br />documents and testimony, and has made the following <br />findings: <br />A. That the proposed location of the conditional <br />use in a P (Public) District is in accordance <br />with the objectives of this chapter and purposes <br />of that district which include the orderly <br />establishment of quasi-public uses in the City. <br />B. That the proposed location, the use and the <br />conditions under which it is to be operated and <br />maintained will not be detrimental to the public <br />health, safety or welfare, or materially injurious <br />to the properties or improvements in the vicinity <br />in that the site is of sufficient size to provide <br />buffer areas between the church facilities and the <br />neighboring residences. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply <br />with each of the applicable provisions of this <br />chapter. <br />
