PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1451 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON GRANTING THE APPEAL OF BETTY NAVARETTE TO AN ADVERSE DECISION OF THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR CONCERNING A HOME OCCUPATION AT 1546 CALLE SANTIAGO. WHEREAS, Betty Navarette has applied for a home occupation permit to conduct a janitorial service from her home at 1546 Calle Santiago; and WHEREAS, the zoning for the property is R-1-6500 (Single Family) District; and WHEREAS, adverse comments were received indicating that the use would cause disruption to the residential character of the neighborhood in which the permit is being requested; and WHEREAS, because of these objections the matter was denied by the Zoning Administrator and subsequently appealed to the Planning Commission for disposition; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a hearing on this application and has reviewed testimony, documents and pertinent materials. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approve AP-76-9, subject to the following conditions: 1. That no materials, supplies or equipment be stored on the premises at any time, but that they may be stored in one vehicle not larger than a l/2 ton pick-up. 2. That the activities carried out on the subject property in connection with the business be limited to bookkeeping, and phone use only. 3. That the property address not be contained in any advertising done for the business. 4. That no customers come to the property in connection with the business. 5. That no deliveries be made to the residence in connection with the business and that the only traffic generated in connection with the business be the use of one vehicle used in the business.
