PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1451 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON GRANTING THE APPEAL OF BETTY <br />NAVARETTE TO AN ADVERSE DECISION OF THE ZONING <br />ADMINISTRATOR CONCERNING A HOME OCCUPATION AT <br />1546 CALLE SANTIAGO. <br />WHEREAS, Betty Navarette has applied for a home occupation <br />permit to conduct a janitorial service from her home <br />at 1546 Calle Santiago; and <br />WHEREAS, the zoning for the property is R-1-6500 (Single Family) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, adverse comments were received indicating that the <br />use would cause disruption to the residential character <br />of the neighborhood in which the permit is being <br />requested; and <br />WHEREAS, because of these objections the matter was denied by <br />the Zoning Administrator and subsequently appealed <br />to the Planning Commission for disposition; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a hearing on this <br />application and has reviewed testimony, documents and <br />pertinent materials. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Approve AP-76-9, subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That no materials, supplies or equipment be <br />stored on the premises at any time, but that <br />they may be stored in one vehicle not larger <br />than a l/2 ton pick-up. <br />2. That the activities carried out on the subject <br />property in connection with the business be <br />limited to bookkeeping, and phone use only. <br />3. That the property address not be contained in <br />any advertising done for the business. <br />4. That no customers come to the property in <br />connection with the business. <br />5. That no deliveries be made to the residence in <br />connection with the business and that the only <br />traffic generated in connection with the business <br />be the use of one vehicle used in the business. <br />
