PLANNING COMMISSION
CITY OF PLEASANTON
COUNTY OF ALAMEDA
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION NO. 1454
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING TO
THE CITY COUNCIL ADOPTION OF RZ-76-11.
REAS, H.C. Elliott, Inc., has applied for an amendment to
rezone approximately 14 acres located between Tawny
and Palomino Drives immediately east of Pico Avenue
from C-N (Commercial Neighborhood) and PUD (Planned
Unit Development-Multiple Residential) District to
C-N and RM-4000 District; and
the Planning Commission has held a public hearing on
this application and has reviewed pertinent maps,
drawings and documents, and has made the following
findings:
1. That the proposed land use pattern would be much
more efficient and desirable than is presently
the case.
2. This new proposal would allow more exposure and
a better orientation of commercial uses to Pico
Avenue, which will ultimately be the major street
in the area.
THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON
S RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Planning Commission recommend to the City Council
the adoption of RZ-76-11 as petitioned, except that the
area zoned RM-4000 be of such a size that the maximum
number of dwelling units which could be constructed on
it be no greater than the maximum number of units which
could be constructed in the residential portion of the
subject property under its present zoning.
2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days from
the date of this resolution.
\t
