PLANNING COMMISSION
CITY OF PLEASANTON
COUNTY OF ALAMEDA
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION NO. 1461
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL THE
ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO REZONE 0.65
ACRE PARCEL AT 3534 SANTA RITA ROAD.
the Planning Commission has initiated an ordinance
amendment to rezone from the A (Agricultural) District
to the C-C (Central Commercial) District, an approxi-
mately 0.65 acre parcel of land located at 3534 Santa
Rita Road, on the east side of Santa Rita Road approxi-
mately 225 feet north of the intersection of Santa Rita
Road and Tassajara Road; and
a public hearing was held on November 3, 1976, and
pertinent maps, drawings and documents were reviewed;
and
the Planning Commission made the following findings:
A. That the present agricultural zoning of the pro-
perty is inconsistent with its use for single
family residential purposes and that surrounding
zoning is already Central Commercial.
B. Its present designation on the General Plan is
shown as Commercial.
C. That this action would make the zoning consistent
with the surrounding land uses and the General
Plan.
THEREFORE, the Planning Commission does resolve as follows:
1. The Planning Commission recommends to the City Council
an ordinance amendment to rezone that property known
as 3534 Santa Rita Road from the A (Agricultural)
District to the C-C (Central Commercial) District.
2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days from
its passage and adoption.
AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of
Pleasanton on the 3rd day of November, 1976, by the
