PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1464 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL <br />THE ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE REZONING APPROXIMATELY <br />120 ACRES LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF FOOTHILL ROAD <br />NEAR ITS INTERSECTION WITH BERNAL AVENUE FROM THE <br />R-1-40,000 DISTRICT TO THE HPD (HILLSIDE PLANNED <br />DEVELOPMENT) DISTRICT. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on <br />October 13, 1976 to review a proposal to rezone 120 <br />acres of land on the west side of Foothill Road near <br />its intersection with Bernal, as shown on attached <br />Exhibit A, incorporated by reference herein, from the <br />R-1-40,000 District into the HPD (Hillside Planned <br />Development) District; and <br />WHEREAS, a property owner, at that public hearing, informed the <br />Planning Commission that she had not received prior <br />notice of the hearing and requested a continuance to <br />allow her sufficient time to study the matter; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission granted her request and con- <br />tinued the hearing to November 10, 1976; and <br />WHEREAS, this matter was again reviewed at the continued public <br />hearing on November 10, 1976, at which time pertinent <br />drawings, maps, documents and testimony were received. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends to the City Council <br />the adoption of RZ-76-21 to rezone approximately 120 <br />acres located on the west side of Foothill Road near <br />its intersection with Bernal Avenue to the Hillside <br />Planned Development District, with the following modifi- <br />
