MINUTES <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />November 6, 2007 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Hosterman called the special meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br />Roll Call <br />Present: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br />Absent: None <br />Public Comment <br />Patricia Moffitt encouraged the Council to pursue action that would require the City of Livermore <br />to conduct a full EIR. <br />Barbara Blissert said the decision to file a lawsuit was premature, felt the Council would be wise <br />to save their money until there is a formal plan in place and noted the Council has agreed to <br />move forward with the noise study with the Livermore Airport. <br />Closed Session: The Council adjourned to closed session at 6:30 for the following purpose: <br />CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - Anticipated Litigation, pursuant to <br />Government Code §54956.9(c): <br />Based on existing facts and circumstances, the City Council is deciding whether to <br />initiate litigation concerning the City of Livermore's decision to approve a lease for a <br />fixed base operator of its airport without conducting any environmental review. <br />Adjournment: The special meeting adjourned at 6:55 p.m. <br />Respect~full/y sub fitted, <br />aren iaz ~/ <br />City Clerk <br />
