CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-23 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE OF SEWER PIPE FOR <br /> STONERIDGE DRIVE EXTENSION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as part of the Stoneridge Drive Extension project, 2,114 <br /> lineal feet of specially constructed reinforced pipe <br /> with a special plastic lining will be installed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, because there is only one manufacturer within reasonable <br /> distance who can provide this pipe within the required <br /> time frame, State law permits negotiation of a purchase <br /> order without following normal bidding procedures; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Authorizes the placement of an order for sewer pipe <br /> for the Stoneridge Drive Extension as set forth in the <br /> quotation from Ameron, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 20, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Wilson j~fL~/ <br />ABSTAIN: None ~~. <br />ATTEST: <br /> K MERCER, MAYOR <br />James Ri Walke~ity Clerk' ~ <br /> y Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />Pet~r'~.'
