PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1468 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL THE <br />ADOPTION OF GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT 76-5. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has applied for a general plan <br />amendment to change the land use designation of approxi-', <br />mately 6.5 acres of land from "Public and Institutional" <br />to "General and Limited Industrial"; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is located between Sunol Boulevard and a <br />line parallel to Sunol Boulevard approximately 600 feet <br />east of Sunol Boulevard and extends approximately 250 <br />feet north and south of Sonoma Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on <br />November 10, 1976, and examined pertinent maps, drawings <br />and documents; and <br />the Planning Commission made the following findings: <br />1. That in view of a proposal to develop one of the <br />lots in the area as a high quality industrial park/ <br />research and development type use which would serve <br />as a standard for the entire area, the staff would <br />have no problem with the area being redesignated <br />"General and Limited Industrial." <br />2. That this area was designated Limited Industrial <br />on the 1968 General Plan. <br />, THEREFORE, the Planning Commission resolves as follows: <br />(Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends to the City Council <br />adoption of an amendment to change the General Plan <br />designation for this area from "Public and Institutional' <br />to "General and Limited Industrial." <br />(Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days from <br />the date of passage and adoption. <br />
