PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1471 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING TO THE <br />CITY COUNCIL THAT CERTAIN ACQUISITIONS AND <br />DISPOSAL OF PUBLIC PROPERTY BE EXEMPT FROM <br />BEING FOUND TO BE IN CONFORMITY WITH THE <br />GENERAL PLAN. <br />WHEREAS, Section 65402 (a) of the Government Code of the <br />State of California requires that no real property <br />may be acquired for any public purpose nor may any <br />public property be disposed of until the Planning <br />Commission has reported to the City Council as to the <br />conformity of such actions with the General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Government Code does permit the City Council, by <br />resolution, to exempt from this reporting process <br />acquisitions for street widening and alignment projects <br />of a minor nature; and <br />JHEREAS, the Planning Commission, on November 10, 1976 reviewed <br />the memorandum of the Director of Engineering Services <br />setting forth the reasons for exempting said projects. <br />fOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />section 1. To recommend to the City Council the following: <br />That acquisitions for street widening and alignment <br />projects of a minor nature require no report by the <br />Planning Commission, pursuant to the exemption sections <br />of Government Code Section 65402(a). <br />ection 2.
