PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1478 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL MINOR <br />REVISIONS TO THE HOME OCCUPATION ORDINANCE. <br />the Planning Commission reviewed revisions to the <br />Home Occupation Ordinance on October 13, 1976, and <br />recommended the revisions to City Council; and <br />the City Council reviewed said revisions at their <br />meeting of November 8, 1976, at which time they pro- <br />posed that certain occupations such as production of <br />minor arts and crafts items such as macrame, oil and <br />water color paintings, tole paintings, etc., be listed <br />as exempt occupations; and <br />this referral was reviewed by the Planning Commission <br />on December 8, 1976, at which time these revisions <br />were reviewed by the Planning Commission. <br />THEREFORE, the Planning Commission resolves as follows: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission agrees with the revisions as <br />proposed by the City Council and hereby recommends <br />modifications to Section 2-10.16(b), 2-10.16(1) and <br />2-10.T7(d), of Article 20, Chapter 2, Title II of the <br />Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton, to exempt <br />production of minor arts and crafts items from requiring <br />a home occupation permit, said revised draft ordinance <br />is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br />
