PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1493 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE PLANNING <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO <br />fiOLD A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE ORDINANCE <br />CODE TO COIdDITIONALLY ALLOW WATCHMEN'S LIVING <br />QUARTERS IN THE COMMERCIAL SERVICE DISTRICT. <br />WfiEREAS, a request was received by the City to establish living <br />quarters for a watchman on a property in the C-S <br />(Commercial Service) District; and <br />',WHEREAS, the staff analyzed the request and concluded that it <br />could be an advantage to the City to allow such a use, <br />providing it could be appropriately controlled under <br />a conditional use permit; and <br />(WHEREAS, the matter was scheduled for review on February 9, <br />1977, at which time the Planning Commission reviewed <br />this request and concurred with staff's recommendations. <br />(NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />(Section 1. The Planning Commission initiated a zoning ordinance <br />amendment to allow watchmen's living quarters in the <br />C-S (Commercial Service) District, as a conditional use. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COD'IMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON on the 9th day of February, 1977, by the <br />following vote; <br />
