C. Elliott, Inc. for
a conditional use permit to allow the
construction of four model homes, a sales
office and a parking area at 560, 568, 576
and 592 Tawny Drive; zoning for the subject
property being R-1-6500 (Single Family)
District has come before this Commission,
and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of
Pleasanton has held a public hearing on this
application and has examined pertinent maps,
drawings and documents and has made the
following finding:
1. That from past experience the Planning
Commission is reluctant to grant conditional
use permits for model home complexes where no
home sales can take place; thereby leaving
said model homes to fall within the category
of an "attractive nuisance" and subject to
vandalism.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of
the City of Pleasanton does hereby deny said
application as petitioned.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission on the 10th day of
July, 1974 by the following vote:
Ayes: Commissioners Carrigan, Wood
and Chairman Pereira
Noes:
Absent: Commissioners McLain and Pon.
Abstain:
Attest: Secretary Eiarris
DATE: July 10, 1974
ATTEST:
n11 I ~~ ~
Robe arris, Secretary L.
